Department of Military Veterans Bursary South Africa 2021 – 2022 ABOUT THE BURSAR The Department of Military Veterans is the governmental department in South Africa responsible for providing South African military veterans with support and services. The current political head of the department is Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula – the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans. ABOUT THE BURSARY The Department of Military Veterans are offering bursaries to Military Veterans and their dependants – in both basic (Grade 1 to 12) and tertiary education.
