eMedia Bursary South Africa 2025 ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER – EMEDIA eMedia Holdings Limited is an investment company active in South Africa’s media industry. It owns and operates e.tv, a widely available free-to-air commercial television station, and eSat.tv, which runs eNCA, a 24-hour dedicated news channel. Additionally, its subsidiary Platco Digital manages Openview, a free-to-air satellite TV service. The company also offers eVOD, an on-demand video platform that enables users to stream movies and shows on any device, anytime. ABOUT THE EMEDIA BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED The eMedia Group is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2025 academic year . ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EMEDIA BURSARY Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizen You must be between 17 and 35 years old You must have completed Matric with a minimum overall average of 65% You must be studying or intend on studying full-time towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above, in 2025 You must be studying or have been accepted / provisionally accepted to study at an accredited University in South Africa You must be passionate about pursuing a career in the Media industry You must have a total household income of less than R600 000 per annum Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply HOW TO APPLY FOR THE EMEDIA BURSARY Applications must be submitted online at: eMedia Bursary Application 2025 Enter “www.zabursaries.co.za” in the field asking how you heard about the eMedia Bursary.
