J.P. Morgan Bursary South Africa 2021 – 2022 ABOUT THE COMPANY – JP MORGAN J.P. Morgan is one of the top financial service providers in the world, providing solutions to leading institutions, corporations and governments in over 100 countries. The firm has been in operation for almost 200 years in Europe and have a large presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with head offices located in London. Within the South African context, the firm is one of the leading financial services providers in the country, providing asset management, investment and corporate products and services. As a way to give back, the Firm and its Foundation (JPMorgan Chase Foundation) donate around US$200 million each year to global nonprofit organizations, as well as heading volunteer services for employees within local communities. ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE JP Morgan will be awarding bursaries within the following fields of study: Aeronautical Engineering Chemical Engineering Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mining Engineering Mechatronic Engineering Business Management Studies Economics Finance Investments The bursary will provide cover for the following expenses: tuition fees, prescribed books, stationery, accommodation in residence or equivalent private accommodation, meals, transport (a maximum of 4 bus trips home per year) and a a personal computer. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): South African citizen Completed Matric Studying full time within one of the aforementioned fields of study Achieved a minimum overall average of 65% at tertiary level Strong academic potential HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY This bursary is currently closed for application for the 2020 academic year.
