Students studying at TVET Colleges can now apply for NSFAS funding for the 2026 Trimester 2 academic cycle.
NSFAS funding helps qualifying students cover the costs of their studies, including tuition, accommodation, transport, and learning materials where applicable.
Important Information About the 2026 T2 Application Cycle
This application cycle is ONLY for:
- TVET College students
The following are NOT allowed during this cycle:
- University applications
- Occupational programme applications
Note: Occupational programme applications will be accommodated during the next intake (July 2026 – June 2027) in line with Semester 2 applications.

- Registered or planning to register at a TVET College
- South African citizen or permanent resident
- Financially eligible for NSFAS funding
