About the PN Foundation Bursary 2027
The PN Foundation Bursary is designed to support students who are passionate about hands-on careers in artisan trades. This bursary focuses on skills development in high-demand fields and aims to empower young South Africans through vocational training.
The bursary is specifically for students studying at TVET Colleges or similar institutions and does not cover university studies.
Fields of Study Covered
Bursaries will be awarded for artisan-related programmes, including:
- Plumbing
- Electrical (Electrician)
- Carpentry
- Tailoring
- Other related artisan trades
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric
- Must intend to study towards an artisan qualification
- Must have applied at a TVET College or similar institution in South Africa
- Must be passionate about hands-on work and artisan careers
- Must NOT currently be receiving funding from the PN Foundation
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Matric certificate or latest results
- Course outline and quotation
- Proof of residential address (not older than 3 months)
- Motivational letter supporting your application
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 30 May 2026
- If you do not receive feedback by this date, consider your application unsuccessful
