Tiber Construction Bursary South Africa 2021 – 2022 ABOUT THE COMPANY – TIBER CONSTRUCTION The Tiber Construction group was founded by Paolo Rivera in 1951, and has since become a respected leader in the construction and private property sector. The management owned private company prides itself of their hands-on approach to fulfiling client needs with top notch property solutions. With their vast range of experience within the construction and property industry, the group are able to offer the following solutions: Full Turnkey Solutions; Property Development and Management; Traditional Building Contracts for Clients and Client Partnering. Since the start of the Tiber Construction Bursary programme, the company has assisted 24 students with obtaining their qualification with the industry, and these students are now full-time employees of the group. This is a true reflection of their commitment to assisting the industries youth. ABOUT THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED Tiber Construction is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2021/ 2022 academic year . Bursaries will be awarded to students pursuing studies within the following fields only: Building Sciences Civil Engineering Construction Structural Engineering MORE ABOUT THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE, SELECTION PROCESS & SERVICE CONTRACT Tiber Construction bursaries will provide coverage for the following expenses: tuition fees, examination fees, prescribed books, residence and a monthly stipend. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend an interview, and will be required to bring along their original ID copy and academic records. If you do not hear back from Tiber Construction, please regard your application as unsuccessful. Once students have graduated, they will be required to join Tiber Construction. Practical work will be offered to students based on the companies current opportunities. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizen You must have completed Matric You must be studying full time towards a qualification in one of the aforementioned construction-related fields of study You must have completed your 1st or later year of study (funding will be awarded from 2nd year onward) You must have achieved a minimum result of 60% for your 2021 studies You must be studying at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa HOW TO APPLY FOR THE TIBER CONSTRUCTION BURSARY Download and complete the Tiber Construction Bursary Application Form 2022 (.pdf) The application form is made up of the following sections: Personal details Parents/ guardians personal details Education details (High School and University) References Working experience (if applicable) Career goals Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded): South African ID document (certified copy) Matric certificate (certified copy) Full tertiary academic record, including high school results, university results and other relevant results (certified copy) Note: applicants must submit their December 2021 final results as soon as they are available (by email or hand delivery).
