Entry requirements

• You need Grade 12 with Mathematics.
• You need a Blasting Assistant Certificate from the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
• You need previous experience in a blasting or mining environment and 2 years of blasting assistant experience.
• Numerical skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer focus and problem-solving are listed competencies.
• A Code 08 or Code B licence, Magazine Master Ticket and Stemming Loader are desired, not minimum requirements.
