Programme Overview
The South African National Parks (SANParks) Graduate Internship Programme 2026 offers unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain meaningful workplace experience in one of South Africaβs most iconic conservation environments.
This 24-month structured internship programme is designed to provide practical exposure, professional development, and industry-relevant skills. Successful applicants will be placed at Kruger National Park, specifically in Skukuza and Phalaborwa, where they will work in various fields ranging from conservation and scientific services to finance, communications, and human capital management.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend ranging from R6,355.69 to R9,088.37, depending on the qualification level.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the SANParks Graduate Internship Programme 2026, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have completed a Diploma, Degree, or Honours qualification (NQF 6β8)
- Be unemployed
- Have no previous internship experience
- Hold a qualification from a recognised South African higher education institution
- Not have formal work experience in the relevant field
