Internship Overview
Tracker Connect is offering an exciting 12-month internship opportunity for 10 young South Africans. This programme is designed to equip participants with practical and theoretical skills in installing electronic tracking devices in vehicles, including trucks and plant machinery.
Interns will gain hands-on experience while working under supervision, preparing them for future careers in the automotive and technical industry.
Key Responsibilities
During the internship, candidates will:
- Perform installations according to company quality standards
- Complete installation-related documentation
- Follow installation schedules effectively
- Provide excellent customer service
- Take responsibility for company-issued tools and equipment
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- A valid driver’s license
- One of the following qualifications:
- Autotronics Level 1–3
- Motor Mechanics Level 1–4
- Electrical Engineering N3 (Light Current)
Additional Requirements
- Must be unemployed and not studying full-time
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- Willingness to travel for training and coursework
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office is an advantage)
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Independent thinking and logical reasoning
Added Advantage
- Experience in mechanical or automotive electrical work
Stipend
A monthly stipend will be provided to cover basic expenses during the 12-month internship period.
