About the Learnership Programme
This 12-month structured learnership is offered in partnership with Novia College and is aimed at equipping young people with technical skills required in the water and sanitation sector.
The programme leads to an Occupational Certificate: Water Process Controller (NQF Level 3) and focuses on both theoretical learning and practical workplace experience.
This opportunity is specifically targeted at youth living with disabilities.
What You Will Learn
Participants will gain valuable skills in:
- Water purification and treatment processes
- Monitoring and operating water systems
- Chemical dosing and safety procedures
- Pump station operations
- Basic water quality testing
- Compliance and reporting
These skills are in high demand within municipalities, water boards, and infrastructure sectors.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Reside in KwaZulu-Natal
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have Matric with Mathematics and Physical Sciences
- Be unemployed
- Be living with a disability
