Role Overview

This role plays an important part in supporting the buying function through administration, reporting, supplier coordination, and product management activities.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Buyer and wider Commercial team.
Assist with stock planning, inventory monitoring, and identifying potential product shortages.
Prepare and analyse sales, stock, and supplier performance reports.
Support product listings, price updates, promotional activities, and new product launches.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product information, pricing, and specifications are accurate and up to date.
Follow up on supplier agreements, deal letters, rebates, and finance-related queries.
Work closely with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure promotions and product information are communicated effectively.
Help resolve product, supplier, and operational queries in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate data

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12.
1-3 years' experience in an administrative, retail, buying support, merchandising, or supplier-facing role.
Experience within retail, telecommunications, or a commercial environment would be advantageous.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Comfortable working with data, reports, and multiple deadlines.
Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle and telecommunications products would be beneficial.
