Grade A-B Armed Officer (Must Have Driver's License)

About the Role
We are seeking a Grade A-B Armed Officer to play a critical role in maintaining safety and security for our clients and their assets. In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out armed security duties with a focus on vigilance, response, and assurance in high-risk environments. You will also be required to possess a valid driver’s license to support operational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points for unauthorized activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide detailed reports and documentation of incidents and events.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and abide by all safety protocols.
- Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively while interacting with clients and the public.

Requirements
- Valid Grade A-B Psira Certificate.
- Proven track record in armed security, particularly in high-risk environments.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Firearm License in Handgun, Shot Gun and Rifle 
- Business purpose competence 
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of physical fitness and ability to handle stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in first aid, conflict resolution, or emergency response.
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment or asset protection field.
- Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.
