GIBB YES Programme 2026

The GIBB YES Programme offers unemployed South African youth an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience through fixed-term placements across different professional disciplines.

Most of the current opportunities are 12-month fixed-term placements aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 35.

General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should generally be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35, unemployed and available for a 12-month fixed-term placement.

Candidates should not have previously participated as a YES beneficiary.

Applicants should also be computer literate, willing to learn and able to demonstrate responsibility and honesty.
