Qualifications

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate will be advantageous.

Essential Experience

• Previous warehouse, stock handling, loading and offloading, or general labour experience will be advantageous.
• Experience working within a warehouse or depot environment will be beneficial.

• Maintain housekeeping standards within the depot and warehouse.
• Apply FIFO (First In First Out) principles during stock movement and storage.
• Pick stock accurately according to operational requirements.
• Load and offload stock safely and efficiently.
• Verify product type against pallet labels during receiving processes.
• Check quantities received against supporting documentation.
• Inspect product quality, including bag condition and sling integrity.
• Verify product expiry dates during receiving and storage.
• Move pallets to designated warehouse storage locations.
• Prepare and move picked stock to loading areas for dispatch.
• Verify correct product and quantities before loading vehicles.
• Perform quality checks during receiving, storage and dispatch activities.
• Assist customers and suppliers with loading and offloading requirements.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and safety standards.
