Skedulerings en Onderhouds Assistent / Scheduling and Maintainance Assistant

Kern doel van die pos:

Verseker tydige en ekonomiese brandstofvoorsiening aan alle bedryfspunte, met deurlopende kommunikasie en gestruktureerde koördinering van herstel- en instandhoudingsake.

Minimum Vereistes:

• Matriek; toepaslike naskoolse kwalifikasie in logistiek, voorsieningsketting, administrasie of tegniese bestuur is voordelig;
• Praktiese ondervinding in skedulering, logistiek, brandstofbedrywighede of instandhoudingskoördinering is ’n sterk aanbeveling;
• Goeie Excel- en rekenaarvaardighede; AS400-kennis is ’n voordeel;
• Geldige bestuurslisensie en bereidwilligheid om waar nodig te reis is voordelig.

Vaardighede: 

• Uitstekende kommunikasie-, beplannings-, opvolg- en administratiewe vaardighede;
• Akkuraatheid en verantwoordbaarheid;
• Diensgerigte ingesteldheid en goeie samewerking met interne rolspelers;
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk, prioriteite vinnig aan te pas en probleme doelgerig op te los.

Verantwoordelikhede:

• Monitor daagliks saam met die Aankopebestuurder die voorraadvlakke van alle brandstofpunte in die OVK-groep;
• Beplan en hersien weeklikse brandstofafleweringsroetes met die oog op optimale voertuigbenutting, kilometers en vervoerkoste;
• Identifiseer betyds tekorte en risiko’s van voorraadonderbrekings en eskaleer dit onmiddellik;
• Kommunikeer proaktief met takke en bedryfspuntbestuurders oor aflewerings, vertragings, uitsonderings en herstelwerk;
• Registreer, prioritiseer, volg op en sluit instandhoudings- en herstelversoeke administratief af; streef na herstel binne 48 uur;
• Hou akkurate rekords, skedules, opvolgregisters en bestuursverslae by.

Core purpose of the post:

Ensure timely and economical fuel supply to all points of operation, with continuous communication and structured coordination of repair and maintenance matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric; relevant post-secondary qualification in logistics, supply chain, administration or technical management is advantageous;
• Practical experience in scheduling, logistics, fuel operations, or maintenance coordination is a strong recommendation;
• Good Excel and computer skills; AS400 knowledge is an advantage;
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel where necessary is beneficial.

• Excellent communication, planning, follow-up, and administrative skills;
• Accuracy and accountability;
• Service-oriented mindset and good cooperation with internal role players;
• Ability to work under pressure, adjust priorities quickly, and solve problems purposefully.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the stock levels of all fuel points in the OVK group on a daily basis together with the Purchasing Manager;
• Plan and review weekly fuel delivery routes with a view to optimal vehicle utilization, mileage, and transportation costs;
• Identify shortages and risks of inventory disruptions in a timely manner and escalate them immediately;
• Proactively communicate with branches and point of operation managers about deliveries, delays, exceptions, and repairs;
• Register, prioritize, follow up, and administratively close maintenance and repair requests; Aim for restoration within 48 hours;
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, succession records, and management reports.
